Each half term every class at Greysbrooke visits the village library, today it was Reception’s turn. We took lots of photos on our way, and once we got there, as we wanted to do some writing about it. We loved the new look library and really enjoyed seeing all of the art competition entries. We chose a new book and Mrs Wharton read us some stories.
Last Sunday was the annual Greysbrooke duck race, 1,000 numbered ducks were placed into the brooke. All who attended waited with baited breath to see what number the winning duck was, the sun shone and a great time was had by all. Thank you to all who helped with this event and made it the huge success it was.
On Tuesday 7th February Mrs Wharton delivered an E-Safety session for Parents. The PowerPoint for this session has now been saved in the Our Communication section of the website. Below are links to the leaflets that were given out. Part of this half term’s topic is healthy eating and vegetables. Today Mr Ryman came into our class to talk about being a farmer and what he grows on his farm. He also brought in his enormous tractor and we all had a sit in it, we had a great time!
